New Delhi: Dr. Dominic F. Dixon, Executive Director of the United Nations Association for Development And Peace (UNADAP), will participate in the International Convention for Human Rights 2026, being organised by the World Human Rights Research Council (WHRRC). The convention is centred on the broad themes of Human Rights, Justice, Peace, Research, and Public Awareness. Dr. Dixon’s distinguished participation will add further international stature and significance to the convention. Dr. Dominic F. Dixon is associated with the fields of international diplomacy, foreign policy, public policy, international law and justice, climate change, renewable energy, and sustainable development. He serves as Executive Director, UNADAP/IDA, and has been associated with representation and recognition-related responsibilities concerning the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG), and the United Nations Headquarters. He has also served as Research & Development Director at UNITAR’s CIFAL-B, Vienna & Geneva. His professional engagement extends across international diplomacy, foreign and public policy, international law and justice, climate action, renewable energy, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). According to information published by UNADAP, he has undertaken advisory and policy-related engagements with governments, international institutions, corporations, and civil society organisations on a range of global issues. Dr. Dixon has also participated in international forums addressing climate change and sustainable development. According to UNADAP, he served as a National Focal Point at COP26 in Glasgow and was involved in dialogue with representatives of various countries and global leaders on issues including climate change and the Global Methane Pledge. He has also participated in programmes and engagements associated with the United Nations Office at Geneva and the United Nations Office at Vienna. The International Convention for Human Rights 2026, organised by WHRRC, is dedicated to advancing awareness and dialogue around human rights, justice, peace, research, and public awareness. The participation of distinguished personalities from different countries and professional fields is expected to give the convention a strong international character. Dr. Dominic F. Dixon’s distinguished presence will further enhance the stature and dignity of the International Convention for Human Rights 2026.
